Instead of overwhelming the student with another textbook each issue consists of a 4 or 8 page handout covering a specific time period or topic.

That story is told as if it is current news, not a stale list of dates, where the people and places of the past come to life as if they were with us today. My Texas consists of 20 single and 6 double issues. Each issue is further divided into bite sized articles focused on specific events or topics, giving you the ability to tailor each lesson to the interests of your student(s). Two mid-term tests and final exam are also included. The program is supported by an extensive 278 page Comprehensive Teacher’s Manual full of historical background, lesson plans, ideas for optional activities and copy masters.
